Niko McGlashan, MArch, BA

Full Stack Developer

Niko is a Full Stack Developer at Trax, helping develop web-based applications that make the building code more navigable for players in the AEC industry. Prior to joining Trax, Niko worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a research associate and software developer for the Center for Advanced Urbanism and the Civic Data Design Lab. During that time, he designed and developed tools for architects, planners, and designers to adopt data-driven decision-making.

Niko blends the experience as both an architect and a Full-Stack developer. He received his Master of Architecture in 2021 from the University of Toronto, where he specialized in computational design. He also has a degree in Environmental and Urban Sustainability from Toronto Metropolitan University, where he developed geospatial, statistical, and data processing skills for urban analysis. Bringing these skills to Trax bridges an essential gap between architecture and technology to create meaningful solutions for the AEC industry.
